Switchblade & syringes among items found in traffic stops in Antigo

According to news reports, 2 men were arrested on Friday, one for had a switchblade knife, the other syringes. A 20 year old was detained after a traffic stop near Fifth Avenue and Elm Street. He was found in possession of a switchblade knife and an electrical weapon. Drug paraphernalia was also found. A bail jumping charge will likely occur since the man has current open court charges. In an unrelated incident, a 44 year old Tigerton man was arrested for items found during a search of his vehicle which turned up syringes. He was stopped for a license plate violation and gave consent for police to search his vehicle. He admitted to using heroin when the syringes were found. He is currently jailed on a probation hold.
