Been reading about the high school musicals in ADJ for years now. Recently I have noticed a tremendous improvement in the writing . Only now is there a writer intelligent enough to just write: " So and so plays such and such; rather than so and so stars. One memorable write up had a student's name mentioned as starring , then went on to state that hearing so and so sing alone would be worth the price of admission. I was so turned off that I did not attend the play. How pretentious and in poor taste. Just treat the kids equal and write the names and roles. To single your own child out as the star and say they alone are worth the price of admission is an awful thing to do. It was disturbing to read the really obnoxious expression: starring. I do understand that some parents dominate the scene here in town to get such tasteless offensive favoritism for themselves and their own kids with little talent but huge need for attention. In the future, please be more intelligent in the writing about the kid's musical. Just state: so and so plays such and such, not, me and my kid star and are worth the price of admission. The laughable lies posted in ADJ about the star actors in town here and the productions cause no credibility at all for the whole lie. There will always be narcissists. Don't promote them!
