I said this before, and I'll say this again... How do you expect industry to come to Antigo, and stay in Antigo if 25% of the population couldn't pass a drug test, or a pre-employment background check? 30 to 40% are retired, and are too old to work.

Have you ever left town? I have worked in several large metropolitan areas and most employers do not screen people out to the degree that you have created in your mind. I can think of a myriad of reasons that industry will not locate here. None of which you have listed.

How ignorant can you be, for easy numbers that would mean 2000 people out of a population of 8000 would be on drugs which I'm sure is not the case. Looking back on the numbers of drug convictions over the last few years there may be 100 total with several being charged more than once. So think before you speak, also look at several Cities surrounding us and neither one of them have had significant increases in new industry. Stop blaming no jobs on the drug issue.

Don't forget bigger cities wouldn't even bother with a lot of the petty drug charges like they do in the smaller towns, they have bigger and more severe crimes to worry about, so instead they just tell the people to clean up their act and don't make it a habit getting caught with it

Do we need industry that requires a cannabis test? We need adequate teachers and press so people like you don't continue to believe lies.Sad.
