Two charged with Maintaining Drug Trafficking house

A man and woman, both formerly of the Antigo area, have been charged with felony crimes including maintaining a drug trafficking place in Shawano County. Andy L. Bessert, currently of Birnamwood, 36, has been charged in Shawano County with maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping. The offense dates vary thoughout the month of October. He is still in jail with a bond amount of $1500 cash. Andy was also charged in Marathon County on 10/17/2013 with possession of cocaine/coca as a second or greater offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an illegally obtained prescription and misdemeanor bail jumping. The offense date was October 03, 2013. He is currently out on a $750 signature bond for those charges. Audrey L. Tautges, currently of Birnamwood, 35, has been charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $5,000 signature bond.

Why is it heroin and bath salts are at epidemic levels but we continue to hear about nothing but pot users! Pot is legal in some states! Come on Mr. D.A.! Time to put on your "Big Boy Panties" and do your job or resign so someone can save our youth!!!
