Antigo’s City Park was buzzing with excitement Saturday as hundreds of young egg-hunters swarmed the two blocks of trees and grass in an annual rite of spring, the Easter hunt.
This year the city’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cemeteries left hundreds of the colorful plastic eggs tucked behind trees and here and there creating excitement for the hunt.
Sarah Repp, the director of the department, had an excellent vantage point on the back of a truck, and explained to parents and the youngsters the divisions in ages and just where the eggs were hidden.
