April referendum sparks information push

The White Lake board of education, through a citizen committee and beef-up web presence is addressing community questions on its April 7 spending referendum.

At this week’s meeting of the board of education, Administrator Bill Fisher updated the seven-member panel on the informational push now underway in advance of the vote.

“We have a community committee to educate people on the financial challenges the district is facing,” Fisher said. “We also have a site on the district website where people can ask questions anonymously about the referendum and we will post answers.”
