Update: Tribes approve Minocqua Chain of Lakes walleye proposal

NORTHWOODS - This upcoming fishing season could be the first where no one could legally catch and keep a walleye on the Minocqua Chain of Lakes.

The walleye population in the chain of lakes has crashed during the past decade.

Now the DNR, fishermen, and tribes will work together to try to improve the walleye population.
