The Antigo school board, in an effort to trim costs and perhaps hold the line on the length of routes, voted Monday to hire Malliette Bus Company as its sole bus provider for the next five years.
The contract will begin with the 2015-16 school year. The district is currently served by both Malliette and Mid-Wisconsin Buses.
Action came on a unanimous vote following presentations by representatives from Malliette, Mid-Wisconsin and Kobussen Buses.
