Last night, the Antigo School Board got together for a special meeting to hear 3 transportation proposals from Kobussen, Mid-Wisconsin/Lamers and Malliette Bus Company. The bus contract ends at the end of this year, and was a 5 year deal with Mailliette and Mid-Wiscosnin Buses.
District Administrator Dr. Don Childs said that the board discussed negotiable aspects in closed session, then re-convened into open session and unanimously approved a 5-year contract with Malliette, the low bidder. It was a significant difference between the bids.
