Local and regional postal officials joined town officers and business owners in welcoming the new Elton Village Post Office on Friday.
Marlene Straley and Kristie Heistad, owners of Borucki’s Country Store, clipped the ribbon opening the postal service’s latest venue at their Highway 64 location.
Joining then were Jon Szigat, Antigo postmaster, Lori Rogney, operations manager, town of Evergreen supervisors Scott Clark and Tom Muraski, and a host of family members and area residents.
