The Langlade County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday morning to handle important agreements with a bargaining unit, set base wages and consider the Farmland Preservation plan for the coming year. The session is set to begin at 9 a.m. on the lower level of the Safety Building.
The board is prepared to consider a collective bargaining agreement with the law enforcement association which goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2015, lasting for the calendar year. The estimated cost of the pact with all members of the association comes to an additional $15,421 per year. The cost of living increase for the year is 1.57 percent and there is another $350 as a uniform allowance.
