Langlade County criminal court activity 10.15.2014.
Melissa L. Merchant of Wausau, 31, received a sentence of 30 days jail and two years probation for felony bail jumping and theft. A charge of first degree recklessly endangering safety was dismissed.
Ryan K. Juech of Fifth Avenue, 22, was sentenced to 70 days in jail and two years probation for fourth degree sexual assault and sex with child age 16 or older. A two year deferred prosecution was ordered for a second degree sexual assault of child charge.
New charges filed today:
Alek P. Koeppel of Virginia Street, 20, is charged with resisting or obstructing an officer as a repeater. An initial appearance is scheduled for November 3.
Jordan J. Bessert of Carley Road, 30, is charged with misdemeanor bail jumping, which occurred on September 30. An initial appearance is set for October 20.
