City panel will review ambulance purchase

The committee will convene at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at City Hall.

Last week, the Common Council vote 7-1 to purchase a Horton ambulance from Sterling, Ill.-based Foster Coach Sales after rebuffing attempts to buy a similar, but not identical, PL Custom unit from Pomasl Fire Equipment Inc. of Antigo.

Comments

This whole deal sounds like there is probably some stupid crap behind it. Like maybe someone in a certain clique is not happy with Pomasl, or something along those lines.
Whatever it is, they need to get over it. Buying local surely outweighs a $66 price difference!!!
