Four year prison sentence for Wausau man, warrants issued and new charges filed.
Richard C. Hoffman of Wittenberg, 45, failed to appear on a charge of operating while revoked. A body only warrant was authorized for his arrest.
Todd G. Hayes of Wausau, 48, was ordered to serve four years confinement in prison with three years of extended supervision for a charge of strangulation and suffocation. Other charges of substantial battery and intimidating a witness were dismissed in a plea agreement. He must also go through counseling, including anger management. He will receive credit for 172 days served.
Gary J. Gomeyosh of Neopit, 40, was fined $100 plus costs and time served of one day in jail for operating while revoked.
New charges filed today:
Justin S. Szitta of Deleglise Street, 32, is charged with first degree child sexual assault-intercourse with person under 12, child enticement sexual contact, cause a child under age 13 to view or listen to a sexual act and exposing genitals for a child. The incidents occurred in September of 2010. A warrant is out for his arrest.
Brittany A. Devos of Phelps, 18, is charged with second degree sexual assault of a child and resisting or obstructing an officer. The incidents happened on April 30. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Ethan S. Casarez-Pagel of Bryant, 22, is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, which occurred on June 13.
