A couple of cases were concluded in Langlade County court this week, with some receiving jail time.
Rodney B. Fleischman of 1804 Clermont Street, 46, has received a sentence of 75 days in jail with 5 years of extended supervision for an incident that happened 2 years ago at Mueller's Lake in Polar. Fleischman was convicted of second degree reckless endangerment of safety for his conduct with what he thought was a teen boy and ended up being an undercover officer. Some text messages had been exchanged and Fleischman went to Mueller's Lake to meet with the young man. According to news reports, Fleischman had no contact at all with the teen, and only went to see in person who was texting him. Apparently sexual activity was the content of the text messages.

Justin E. McGarry of White Lake, 27, received a sentence of 125 days in jail for a third offense of operating while intoxicated. He was fined $1,935. During the traffic stop, officers found marijuana and a pot pipe in his possession. He was fined $100 plus costs for possession. The charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked were dismissed in a plea agreement.
Ryan R Wirtz of Virginia Street, 17, received a fine in the amount of $100 plus costs for obstructing an officer. He gave false information during a traffic stop.
Jason L. Braun of Highway HH, 37, was released from jail with conditions that he not engage in violent behavior against the victim, a female acquaintance. He is charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
Patricia R. Gilbert of Pelican Lake, 55, was released from jail on a $1,000 signature bond for charges of obstructing an officer and reckless endangerment of safety. She allegedly rammed her vehicle into a family members truck.
Brian A. Buettner of White Lake, 30, was charged with a fifth offense of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He received a bond amount of $1,000 cash, but even if posted he will remain jailed on a probation hold.
