Variety of court cases including theft, drugs, drunk driving

According to news reports and court records, there were a variety of cases resolved in court Friday. A one year prison term was ordered for Nathan R. Wilz, 48, of Menasha for a seventh offense of operating while intoxicated. One year of extended supervision was also ordered. He was fined $2,252. He must equip his vehicle with an ignition interlock device. His drivers license was revoked for 36 months. He had been arrested in November of 2012 after a call was made to authorities regarding an intoxicated person. Wilz had a BAC of .29 percent when tested. Riley J. Dahms, of Omega Circle, 19, received a sentence of 75 days in jail for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and manufacture or delivery of marijuana. Officers found a quarter pound of pot in his vehicle, along with a glass pipe. Additional counts were dismissed. Nicolas Basuke, of Marinette (formerly of Antigo), 23, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and one year of probation for charges of possession of marijuana, possession of an illegally obtained prescription and two bail jumping charges. He also pleaded no contest to operating while intoxicated. He was fined $817.50 and his drivers license was revoked for six months. Jeffrey A. Lewis of Crestwood Road, 30, was fined $100 plus costs for an amended charge of possession of marijuana. The charges stemmed from law enforcement finding plants growing at his home. Makayla J. Schultz of Pine Street, 18, was fined $200 plus costs and put on probation for one year for charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing an officer and bail jumping. Pot pipes had been found in her possession. She was also fined $200.50 for underage drinking. Dylan Andren of Grantsburg, 22, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for using a woman's credit card that he stole. He must pay restitution in the amount of $159. He was also sentenced to one year probation. He used the card to purchase cigarettes, soda and food before the card was no longer usable and declined. William F. Moffat of Dorr Street, 33, was sentenced to one year of probation for charges of child neglect and bail jumping. He must cooperate with social services as a condition of probation. Additional charges were dismissed. He and a co-defendant had left 3 children alone, all under the age of 8, for several hours. When returning there, both of them showed signs of intoxication. The children had already been removed from the home. Gregory Moreno of Graham Avenue, 31, was fined $100 plus costs for driving with a revoked license. Ryan J. Lenzner of Highway S, 33, received a fine of $100 plus costs for carrying a concealed weapon. A revolver was found under his seat when pulled over for a traffic violation. Joshua Raunio of Highway AA, 28, was put on probation for one year for battery. He must go through anger management classes. Judgment was deferred for two years on a charge of false imprisonment. He served 22 days in jail while the case was pending. Kevin D. Harris of Sixth Avenue, 42, was ordered to serve 30 days in jail for domestic battery from a fight with his roommate. He was also put on probation for one year.
