A high speed chase crossed through Antigo’s south side and into the southern reaches of Langlade County early Sunday when a local man fled from police on his motorcycle and then crashed while slowing after the pursuit was terminated.
Law officers said the 23-year-old Antigo man was intoxicated and escaped with only a minor ankle injury as a result of the crash which occurred along Highway G just into Marathon County.
