Council rejects police study, city gains noted at meeting

In the spirit of the holidays, Alderman Reinhardt Balcerzak was in a jolly frame of mind Wednesday. At the conclusion of the December session of the Antigo Common Council, the Eighth Ward alderman took a moment to compliment Inspector-Assessor Jerry Wilhelm on his building report, and to note all the good things on the horizon in Antigo, including plans for new apartment complexes and assisted living facilities, and an industrial expansion that will rise 64 feet into the sky, making it the tallest building in the city. “I’m proud of this city,” Balcerzak said. “We’re still moving forward.” Full Story: Antigo Daily Journal
