Pedestrians in the very busy area of Langlade Hospital have an extra measure of safety today, due to a rather unique partnership between the city and medical facility.
Crews from the city’s Department of Public Works Monday installed new solar-powered strobe lights marking crossways at Fifth Avenue and Aurora Street. The lights will be activated by pedestrians and will flash for 30 seconds on both sides of Fifth Avenue.
