On Thursday evening, a 21 year old woman was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was also cited for driving with a defective muffler.
Around 1:00am on Friday a man was charged for a fourth offense of drunk driving on Bluebell Road. He is 28 years old.
Also on Friday, a 53 year old woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, after law enforcement was were in her residence to assist social services.
From Saturday's news, an Elcho man received a 120 day jail sentence for possessing marijuana and bail jumping. Lawrence D. Parks, age 26, has already served 32 days. The marijuana charge is a second or greater offense. Other charges were dropped in a plea agreement. He will also need be on supervision for 2 years.
Patrick Arrowood of 10th Avenue received a 60 day jail sentence for failing to report to jail. He had a 60 day stint from a burglary case in 2012. He has already completed 45 days of his time. He and a co-defendant are ordered to pay $4,493 in restitution for criminal damage to property, which involved theft. He is also ordered to pay a fine of $300 plus court costs for reckless driving.
Some of the others who were fined for traffic violations are:
Derek Pavek, 31, of Bryant, fined $213.10 for failure to control his vehicle, $200.50 for driving while suspended and $200.50 for operating without insurance.
Jacqulyne R. Verhagen, 22, of Hudson Street, fined $200.50 for driving while suspended.
Charles West, 21, of Aniwa, fined $200.50 for driving while revoked.
Jessica A. Peschke, 22, of East Fifth Avenue, fined $175.30 for operating after registration suspension.
Amanda K. Weldon, 23, of Lincoln Street, fined $114.50 for driving without carrying a license.
Joshua Ball, 30, Mary Street, fined $175.30 for non-registration of a vehicle.
Felicia R. Schmidt, 26, of Deleglise Street, fined $114.50 for driving without carrying a license.
