Some locals received jail time for disorderly conduct charges in Langlade County Court.
Shalena D. Messer of Rolling Hills Road, age 28, received a 5 day jail sentence for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She had swung at an officer while being escorted out of a bar. A felony count of battery to law enforcement officers was dismissed. She had refused to leave the bar at closing time. She also received one year probation and a $100 fine plus costs.
Robert Turcotte of Seventh Avenue, age 39, received a sentence of 30 days of jail time for disorderly conduct. He is also ordered to pay a $100 fine.
Alex A. Long of South Park Street, age 22, will be serving 15 days in jail for disorderly conduct. He was charged for fighting with another inmate while in the Langlade County Jail. His sentence is already completed.
Shalyn M. Bessert of Aniwa, age 27, received deferred judgment for one year for battery. Another charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a family argument in January.
Cole L. Kuenzli of White Lake, age 21, was ordered to serve 5 days in jail plus $100 fine and costs for possession of drug paraphernalia. He additionally received a fine of $200.50 for driving while revoked.
Gerald Meverden of Kelly Street, age 38, received a $100 fine plus court costs for a charge of theft.
Kelsie McGeshick of Fifth Avenue, age 25, received a sentence of 9 months probation for a disorderly conduct charge from last October.
