Another winter storm hits state with heavy snow, ice

Weather-watchers in Antigo and Langlade County are keeping a keen eye to the west today as a widespread storm is moving across the Upper Midwest — and if it arrives here the results won’t be that good. Western Wisconsin has been buried under more than a foot of new snow. Numerous school districts canceled classes, including Menomonie, River Falls, Chetek, Rice Lake, Barron and Durand.
