School district's cuts this year concentrate on staff

The Antigo school board Tuesday balanced its 2013-14 budget, approving the last in a series of staff reductions that will reduce proposed spending by almost $1 million. Action on the cuts was spread throughout the open and closed portions of the meeting, with the board inking a series of revisions to existing job descriptions that replace several vacant full-time positions with part-time jobs and then approving final layoffs in a subsequent closed session.
