The Antigo school board will wait until after the spring election to fill the vacancy caused by the recent death of Miles Stanke, in order to give those who were unsuccessful at the ballot box a chance to apply.
At Tuesday’s board of education meeting, members voted unanimously to post the position on April 3, the day after the election, with a goal of selecting a replacement at the board’s regular monthly session scheduled on April 23.
