Wisconsin Realtors sold three-point-seven percent fewer homes in January, compared to the same month a year ago. The state Realtors Association said today that its members sold 32-hundred-50 existing houses last month, down from 33-hundred-75 in January of last year. The median re-sale price kept going up by six-and-a-half percent on a year-to-year basis, to 135-thousand dollars. Realtors Association chairman Dan Kruse said only about five-percent of all homes during a typical year are sold in January, so it's harder to draw conclusions.
