If there's anything I've learned about this community, it's that in times of need, people band together and help their own.
Scott Wilhelm, 30, is an area native and veteran. He has done two tours of Iraq, and saw things in a war-torn desert no human should ever have to face. He witnessed the worst humanity had to offer with grace and dignity. Soon after arriving home the second time, Scott and his siblings lost their mother, nine years after losing their father.
