A little snowstorm didn’t stop tributes to the nation’s veterans at area schools. It only caused a bit of regrouping.
One week after an early season snowstorm walloped the northwoods and forced classes to cancel, Veterans Day programs were held at Antigo Middle School and White Lake School.
Antigo’s 45-minute program included music by the Maroon and White Bands and the combined choirs, the Pledge of Allegiance led by Student Council President Emma Brown, and remarks by Keith Wilson on fund-raising activities for the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
