An 18-year-old man is in local custody for a Saturday night arrest when sheriff’s deputies discovered a stash of marijuana and booze in his car.
The suspect is expected to face a collection of criminal charges which will include possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an illegally obtained prescription medication. He also received citations for transporting alcohol as a minor and operating a motor vehicle with a loud exhaust.
The latter was the reason for the 8:37 p.m. stop which was made in the vicinity of 10th Avenue and Edison Street.
