Traffic stop sparks pot arrest

According to news reports, a man was arrested for pot after being stopped by police on Thursday. The 54 year old man allowed a search of the vehicle and law enforcement found a small amount of marijuana and a pot pipe. Four people were arrested on warrants, one of which was an Antigo woman who has allegations against her for a marijuana charge from last month. Two others were taken into custoday on warrants from Marathon County and Shawano County for outstanding fines. A Shawano man who had a warrant from Waupaca County for failure to appear was also arrested. The warrant stemmed from a traffic charge. A 44 year old Antigo man was arrested on charges of bail jumping for a violation of conditions on a current criminal matter. He was cited for driving without a license also.
