Students, new principal pleased to start '14-15 school year at Mattoon

Students at Mattoon's elementary school certainly appeared to be happy to be back on Tuesday.

They capped their day with the new principal, Nancy Resch, in an assembly in the gymnasium and heard about the new school district's “Antigo Pride’’ theme for the 2014-2015 year.

The students also heard about safety and the basics of being back in school before Miss Resch took questions from the youngsters.
