State aid a problem for Antigo schools

To put it bluntly, the Antigo school district is being penalized for being frugal, and conservative. According to the latest estimates released this week by the Department of Public Instruction, Antigo stands to lose over half-a-million in state aid payments, at a time when state officials are heralding increases in dollars for education.
