Wisconsin is far from hurricane central but a recent contribution by law enforcement officers, including those here, is making a difference in the lives of those affected by one of the largest East Coast storms on record.
In cooperation with a state-wide disaster relief effort called Sheriff’s Adopting Sheriff’s, the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office recently raised $1,400 to send to the Union County Sheriff’s employees in New Jersey who were jolted by Hurricane Sandy.
