Second person charged with firing shots in downtown

A friend of an Antigo man already convicted of firing shots from his downtown apartment at vehicles and buildings near the CoVantage Credit Union last winter will now also face criminal charges.

Michael Gibney, 24, of W10696 W. Fifth Ave. made an appearance in Langlade County Circuit Court Wednesday where he stood accused of six counts, including a felony charge of endangering safety by reckless use of a firearm.
