A County Highway Department dump truck was taking a load of ground-up asphalt on an approach to the North Towne Center shopping area Tuesday morning as part of a project to resurface Highway 64 from the intersection with Highway 45 to just past the Wal-Mart entrance. Highway Commissioner Tim Rusch explained that the state has engaged the county to do the project that will lay a new asphalt overlay on what Rusch called one of the worst pieces of road in Langlade County.
