With regret, gratitude, school board accepts Mary Jo Filbrandt resignation

“With regret” and “deep gratitude for their years of service,” the Antigo school board Tuesday accepted the resignations of Mary Jo Filbrandt, director of business services, and the Dr. Janene Beck-Hafner, director of pupil services.

The action came at the regular December session, which also included planning for maintenance projects, approval of new course offerings at the high school, and purchase of new musical instruments.

Beck-Hafner, originally a instrumental music instructor, has been a school district employee for 13 1/2 years, first as associate principal at the high school and moving to central office in 2006 as pupil services director.
