According to news reports & court records, a couple bath salt cases were resolved in court, among other cases for varies crimes.
Rosemary Xiong, a former Antigo resident, now living in Wausau, received one year of probation and fined $100 plus court costs for charges of possession of controlled substance and possession of narcotic drugs. Ms. Xiong was reported to have suffered delusions brought on by bath salts, which were found in her purse. Other drugs, including prescription pills, powered drugs and syringes had been found in her residence.
Brittany N. Tietsort, 21, also a former Antigo resident, now living in Rhinelander, also received one year of probation for charges of child neglect. She had been overheard talking to someone at the jail when drug activity was mentioned. Officers found drugs at her home and children were present. She was also charged with being party to a crime of possessing a hazardous substance with intent to abuse (bath salts), but judgment was deferred for one year on that charge.
Hannah Ruppert, 17, of Pelican Lake was fined $200.50 for underage drinking.
Billy R. Thurber, 19, of White Lake, received a fine of $100 plus court costs for a disorderly conduct charge from a family argument in May.
Kayla M. Chapman, 25, of Third Avenue, was fined $100 plus costs for a charge of criminal damage to property. She has paid $998.03 in restitution as the case was pending. A car door was damaged when Ms. Chapman was fighting with another person outside an Antigo tavern in July 2012.
Dean Arrowood, 34, of Second Avenue was ordered to serve 30 days in jail for a bail jumping charge. He had violated his bond by drinking alcohol. He also received a fine of $100 plus costs.
James T. Pelky, 44, Antigo, received one year of probation plus court costs for a disorderly conduct charge.
Elmira J. Conn, 23, of Keshena, received a $1,000 signature bond for retail theft charges. She is accused of taking over 100 items valued over $700 from the Antigo Walmart store.
Amanda Brunette, 31, of Gleason received a fine of $300 plus costs for failing to install an ignition interlock device.
