Prime Time History: In 38 years, Eagle Harbor Station saved man lives

The Eagle Harbor Life-Saving Station opened in 1912 and the Coast Guard closed the station in or shortly after 1950. The rescue station served for at least 38 years and answered 556 distress calls. Among them were nine major shipwrecks or groundings. Full Story: Antigo Daily Journal
