Pickerel's winter tradition continues

Swimmers and snowmobilers continued a tradition that dates to the mid-1980s on Saturday—the annual jump-in at Jerry Schuh’s Sportsmen’s Lodge on Pickerel Lake. The event has morphed from a chilly swim enjoyed by a few hearty members of the Menasha Polish Polar Bears Club who had cottages on Pickerel Lake to a full-fledged community festival and fund-raiser for the Pearson-Pickerel Lions Cub.
