It was a perfect football day at Lambeau Field Sunday.
From sunny if a bit blustery conditions for tailgating, to the chants of MVP rocking the stadium, a better ending of the regular NFL football season could not have been written Sunday in Green Bay.
The only hiccup—a few still moments in the stands when quarterback Aaron Rodgers writhed on the ground clutching his re-injured calf muscle, shortly before halftime. There were loud cheers and chants calling for Rodgers to be named the league’s most valuable player as he walked off the field, and then there were cheers again when he returned from the locker room early in the third quarter and hobbled back in the huddle.
