A Pelican Lake man was arrested early Sunday for his seventh offense of drunken driving.
A Langlade County sheriff’s deputy stopped the 53-year old motorist in the vicinity of Highway 45 and Bluebird Road for a speeding violation shortly before 1:30 a.m.
The deputy noted that he could smell an odor of intoxicants but the driver denied he had been drinking. A preliminary breath test suggested differently and he was taken into custody.
