Optimist Club gets a jump on holiday with display on walkway

The Antigo Optimist Club kicked off the holiday season a bit early this week, using the backdrop of the Spring Brook walking path and giant Christmas card display to present the Giving Tree organization with a donation to purchase gifts for children. Katie Clay, the Giving Tree organizer, accepted the $500 donation from Optimist President Nick Watchel, joined by members Sam Hardin, Rev. Dave Karolus, and Jessica Olson.
