New Year's Day stabbing leads to arrest

Deputies arrested a 20-year-old Keshena man on a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide after a New Year’s Day stabbing at a residence in the Town of Birnamwood in Shawano County. Capt. Thomas Tuma of the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department said a 35-year-old Shawano man suffered serious stab wounds to his neck in an altercation with the Keshena man. Full Story: Post Crescent
