D. Wayne Lukas has already broken most Kentucky Derby records, and he’ll shatter another two—and maybe more—on Saturday.
The trainer considered the sport’s elder statesman will saddle Will Take Charge and Oxbow in Saturday’s Derby. The colts will be Lukas’ 46th and 47th Derby starters, the most of any trainer in the race’s 138-year history.
