Loons crash out of sky here

Today’s icy mix has sent migrating loons crashing to the ground, with potentially fatal consequences. Marge Gibson and her crew at Antigo-based Raptor Education Group were responding throughout the morning hours to reports of loons that had been grounded by ice and unable to return to flight.
