Local schools meeting expectations

Antigo, Elcho and White Lake joined the majority of Wisconsin public schools and districts that met or exceeded expectations as graded on report cards released today by the Department of Public Instruction. Antigo received an overall rating of 66.4, which means it meets expectations. In priority areas, it scored 57.7 percent in student achievement, compared to 66.1 statewide; 57 in student growth, compared to 60.6 statewide; 66.2 in closing gaps, compared to 66.8 statewide; and 84.7 in on-track and post-secondary readiness, compared to 84.9 statewide.
