Jail sentences were given to a few people for various charges and probation revocations.
Daniel R. Bernau of Neff Switch Road, 29, appeared on Tuesday and received a $1,500 signature bond with condition of no use of alcohol and not driving without a valid license, for charges of third offense of operating while intoxicated and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration as a third offense. His next court date is set for March 24.
Patrick M. Arrowodd of South Park Street, 27, appeared on Thursday, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to six months in jail. The charges were theft of movable property and criminal damage to property. In a separate case, he was sentenced to one year in jail for probation revocation on charges of burglary into a building or dwelling and misdemeanor bail jumping. There were actually two sentences of one year in jail each, but they run concurrent, so the total time to be served is one year.
Deborah L. Imler of Birnamwood, 59, was found guilty of theft in a business setting with the amount under $2,500. She was sentenced to one year of probation. She must also pay restitution of $206.50.
Brian Andrew Buettner of White Lake, 30, had his probation revoked for charges of resisting or obstructing an officer. He was sentenced to nine months in jail for one count and 90 days in jail for the second count, but, they run concurrent, so the total time is 9 months. In a separate case he was found guilty of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration as a fifth offense and possession of marijuana as a second or greater offense. He was sentenced to 10 months jail time, 3 years of probation, ignition interlock device installation for 1 year and drivers license revocation for 2 years. The jail time runs consecutive to the first case. He was also fined $1,759 and must go through alcohol and drug assessment and counseling.
James O. Kent of Colgate, 43, was sentenced to 1 year of probation on 10/04/2013 for charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct. His probation was revoked and a warrant for his arrest was authorized.
