A few cases were concluded with jail terms and probation, a warrant authorized, and new cases filed today.
Shane A. Tillman of Third Avenue, 28, was sentenced to three years probation for possession of narcotic drugs and retail theft. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of narcotic drugs was dismissed in a plea agreement. He must also undergo alcohol and drug assessment with follow through and pay $1,086 in restitution.
George P. Hawley of White Lake, 32, was sentenced to 8 months in jail and 3 years probation for a fifth offense of operating while intoxicated. In a separate case he was sentenced to 12 months probation for resisting or obstructing an officer. The probation terms run concurrent. He must pay costs on a theft charge also. In addition, he must go through alcohol and drug assessment and follow through, pay a fine of $2,052 and install an ignition interlock device for one year. His drivers license is revoked for three years. Charges of operating while revoked, operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration fifth offense and felony bail jumping were dismissed.
Matthew H. Parish of Weston, 23, failed to appear in court on charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an illegally obtained prescription. A body only warrant was authorized for his arrest. A bond forfeiture hearing will be held.
Greg P. Krueger of Bear Lake Road, 28, was sentenced to one year jail and four years probation for possession with intent to distribute a hazardous substance. He must also undergo alcohol and drug assessment with follow through.
Haley N. Ferguson of Edison Street, 32, was sentenced to one year probation for possession of marijuana. Charges of possession of an illegally obtained prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed.
New cases filed today:
Thomas J. Brand of Fifth Avenue, 25, was charged with disorderly conduct, domestic abuse as a repeater. His next court date is scheduled for May 12.
Britta P. Davison of White Lake, 24, was charged with retail theft as a repeater. Her next court date is set for May 12.
Christy M. Hicks of Martin Avenue, 36, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. She is scheduled to return to court on April 21.
Raul Castellanos of Mattoon, 40, was charged with disorderly conduct, which occurred on April 10. He was released on $150 bond. An initial appearance is scheduled for April 21.
Kathleen A. Dobson of Merrill, 54, was charged with operating while revoked and failing to install or tampering with an ignition interlock device as a second or greater offense. The offense happened on March 29.
Mateo J. Zarate-Castellanos of Mattoon, 19, was charged with operating without a valid license as a second offense within three years.
