Langlade County criminal court activity 03.11.2015.

Louis J. Murray, 55, of Virginia Street, received a $1,000 cash bond for a charges of operating while intoxicated fourth offense within five years. His next court date is May 5.

Ashleigh P. Kinney, 29, of Deleglise Street, received a ten month jail sentence during a revocation hearing today. She will receive credit for 228 days served. She was convicted of distributing hazardous substance (bath salts) with abuse known.

Ward Deverney, 47, of First Avenue, was sentenced to eighteen months probation for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping. A one year probation term was ordered for separate charges of disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping. The probation terms run concurrent. A two year deferred judgment was ordered for felony bail jumping. Charges of child abuse recklessly causing harm, possession of drug paraphernalia, battery and bail jumping were dismissed. Alcohol or drug assessment with follow through, counseling and payment of court costs was also ordered.

Mateo J. Zarate-Castellanos, 19, of Bryant, was fined $50 plus court costs for operating without a valid drivers license second offense within three years.



New charges filed today:

Mark J. Smith, 60, of Deerbrook, is charged with operating while intoxicated fourth offense and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration fourth offense. The incident occurred on February 13.
