Langlade County criminal court activity 01.13.2015.
Patrick G. Zweifel of Orfordville, 51, failed to appear in court on a charge of theft. A warrant was authorized for his arrest with a bond amount of $7,800.
Robert J. Essert of Bryant, 48, received a one year deferred judgment for a charge of intentionally mistreating animals. If successfully completed, the charge will be amended to disorderly conduct with a $50 fine and court costs.
Brenna L. Osborne of South Superior Street, 20, was sentenced to one year probation for theft in a business setting. She must also pay restitution and courts costs and undergo counseling.
Joshua D. Day of Pierce Avenue, 25, was sentenced to jail time due to probation revocation. He received a six month jail term for four charges of retail theft and three charges of misdemeanor bail jumping. In a current case, he was ordered to serve one year probation and pay restitution and court costs for a retail theft charge.
Justin J. Hipke of Baraboo, 30, received jail sentences during a revocation hearing. He was ordered to serve 90 days for possession of drug paraphernalia, another 90 days for resisting or obstructing an officer and another 90 days for operating while revoked. He will receive credit for 213 days of time served.
New charges filed today:
Zachary T. Pomar of Green Bay, 22, is charged with two counts of felony bail jumping, which occurred on November 23. An initial appearance is scheduled for January 14.
Sabrina J. Deangelis of Appleton, 18, is charged with first degree recklessly endangering safety and substantial battery intending bodily harm. The incidents happened on November 27. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Amanda M. Bocek of Pickerel, 32, is charged with possessing an illegally obtained prescription. The incident occurred on December 23. An initial appearance is set for February 16.
