A few cases were resolved in Langlade County court today.
A bench warrant was issued for Gary J. Gomeyosh of Neopit, 40, for failure to appear in court today. He is charged with operating while revoked.
Dean M. Bierman, 45, of Third Avenue, pleaded no contest to felony bail jumping and a 6th offense of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. A sentencing hearing is set for January 30.
David W. Weix of Clermont Street, 55, entered a plea agreement for a charge of operating while revoked. He was fined $100 plus court costs.
Johnny M. Spencer of Mattoon, 33, received 1 year probation for disorderly conduct. He is also ordered to pay $100 plus court costs. He also received 1 year probation for a misdemeanor bail jumping charge. He must undergo counseling, pay court costs, go through alcohol or drug assessment and follow through plus 30 days in jail. The probation terms run concurrent, so total time is one year.
Caleb Kluwe of Wausau, 19, was originally charged with burglary into a building or dwelling, but that was amended to a charge of possession of narcotic drugs. He received a sentence of 2 years probation, alcohol/drug assessment with follow through, counseling, and restitution of $115. If he successfully completes probation the case may be expunged.
Dustin P. Volkmann of Birnamwood, 19, entered no contest plea to sex with a child over age 16. He received a deferred judgment for one year and a $100 fine plus costs. A review hearing is scheduled for December 23, 2014.
